Bete Noire Jewellery review/haul! Custom jewellery maker.

The picture above is a small example of my collection of bete noire jewellery! The picture on the left is one I managed to screenshot, anyone for a pina colada?! I'm sure the rest is at my boyfriend's house but I can show of the extent of my custom collection. I have been buying these necklaces for about 4/5 years now and I think I started off buying from the halloween collection (which is awesome by the way, especially if you're a hallween head like I.) On the web site (www.betenoirejewellery.com) there are staple items such as the true love pizza heart necklace and the flump marshmellow necklace, nom!

You can't handle these lumps!
The custom ones are my favourtie though as there are no other like them and the lady behind bete noire is a wizard genius! A mention for the amazing customer service as well! For doing a custom order there is a contact form on the website, you just basically say what you would like and then exchange e-mails before you finally settle on what you would like. I don't think I've ever paid over £15 including p&p for one of mine which I think is such a bargain of a price for a one off which hours of work has gone in to.

I'm obsessed with Sherlock (and Benedict Cumberbatch) so I wanted a necklace based on the BBC TV series. If you watch the TV show yourself you'll see what I did here, wanting the wallpaper from the flat as a backround which was a baroque pattern. I couldn't have wished for it to turn out better and the amount of detail in the backround was astounding.

The last necklace I'll show is my favourite (apart from the pina colada one, what can I say it's my favourite cocktail!) At first I thought the backround would look good as a black and red volcanic kinda feel but when I got a message back from bete noire saying 'how about the middle earth map as a backround?' my inner geek squeeled with joy while my cool outside exterior said 'yes please!' Once again the detail in this necklace amazed me and it turned out far better than anything in my head.

Next on the list is the pizza necklace because pizza is life and I actually need a jurassic park necklace in my life. With it being my favourite film ever it's kinda shameful that I don't have one yet! If you where to get your favourite thing made into a necklace what would you get?

Top makeup revolution products so far!

I friggen love this brand!!! It all started when my friend txted me about a year ago telling me about a new makeup site that had loads of products on it for £1. I didn't have much money at that moment but I went ahead and ordered a couple of lipsticks and a concealer stick. At first I thought 'meeeeeh what's the big deal?!' but the lipstick shade rebel was beautiful. As time went by they seememd to be releasing new products every minute and the triple bake blushes and chocolate eyeshadow pallets where items I needed! I have gotten a stupidly huge collection now and am always seeing new things I somehow need even though I'm up to my eyes in lipsticks, palletes and eyebrow kits. But now I wanna talk about some of my favourite things.
Inside the white chocolate pallete.

I heart makeup chocolate palletes
These are by makeup revolution's sister brand I heart makeup. The dark chocolate one is a pretty obvious dupe for another makeup brands eyeshadow pallete but it's the white chocolate one that really sets my heart racing!  I swear they even smell like chocolate! The white choclate pallete is full of neutral nudes and so wearable for day to day.

Inside the dark chocolate pallete.
The dark chocolate pallete is also very wearable but has a more varied range with purples and greys in there.

Please excuse the well loved look of this pallete. This is the bulletproof eyebrow pallete in medium/dark. This has EVERYTHING for the perfect brow. Two colours of gel, four different shades of powder, a concealer and a highlighter plus various tools and brushes. I used to be a complete brow novice but after my friend kindly explained what each bit was for I was away! So simple to use and purse friendly!

Not to much to say about these triple baked blushers and a bronzer other than they're gorgeous. I'll leave it at that at the moment otherwise I could write all day about all makeup revolution's products. They have a website and can be bought in Superdrug. What are your favourite makeup revolution products and what should I try next? xxx

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick. My favourite liquid lippie!

Just a quick one this week. I have a confession to make....I have a lipstick obsession...phew I feel better now it's out there. My liquid lipstick collection started with limecrime which I don't really wish to buy anymore. I also had problems with the super matte ones and then I found Bourjois velvet lipstick. Oh my, it was love and I'm still working on my collection.

Reds are my favourite go to shade. Hot pepper is a lovely bright orange red and perfect for summer. Grand gru is a beautiful deep red, perfect for autumn and winter but I'm wearing it now anyhoo!

These lipsticks don't dry completely dry. Surprise, surprise they dry to an almost velvety feel! Though I prefer this feel to the ones that dry straight away and then just don't budge.

I've just got into my nudes and nudeist is the best. It's got a gorgeous pink tone to it like a vintage pink so it's not completely nude and is just the most perfect colour for everyday. Ole flamingo is a bright hot pink. I don't usually wear pinks but when I do I go bright, bold and deep! This one is also perfect for the summer season.

At first I was reluctant to buy these lipsticks as they are £8.99 and sometimes I can be tight! But their worth every penny and it's unusual not to find them on offer in boots or superdrug. Next on my list of liquid lipsticks to try is the lasplash brand and I'm lusting after the anastasia beverly hills ones. What are your favourite brands of lipsticks? As a addict I'm always on the lookout!

Dry hair care routine!

Dry hair care routine!

I'm obsessed with inding the right hair care routine. My hair is over heated, over dyed and can sufer from feeling unloved so I'm always on the look out or new miracle products and it seems I've hit th jackpot!

Firstly I start with bed head shampoo and conditioner. I love bed head, their products always leave my hair feeling great and I can't stop smelling the conditioner. So when I saw these in b&m bargains I snapped them up. They had an impressive stock of bed head litre bottles but I picked up the ones specifically to inject some much needed moisture in my head!

I let my hair dry a bit while I do my makeup and plod about. Then I give my hair a squirt of this. This is part of a few new products from Schwarzkopf's got2b range. The packaging and sweet smell really reminds me of bed heads more expensive range. This was on offer in boots for 2 for £5.50 and is a miracle 10 in 1 cream. I pop a bit on my damp hair for heat protection and smoothing. It also gives shine, fullness, thickness plus many more amazing things. So far I love it and it's definitely a repurchase already.

When my hair's dry and straightened I give it a spray of this. It's an argan oil mist and generally I use it instead of hair spray. At first I felt like it would feel as if I was giving my hair a spritz of fry light! But my fears were unfounded. I find it light weight, my hair feels amazing and it smooths all my fly away spilt ends.

Since I was so impressed with my bed head shampoo I bought a mask as it's important to do an intensive weekly conditioning treatment when you suffer from dry hair. It actually smells like sherbet. I tend to put it on my dry hair once a week and leave it overnight.
As I'm always on the lookout for hair saviors please share any tips you might have with me?!

Primark beauty haul! PS Love review part 2.

Ps Love. Primark Beauty Haul part 2!

Match this with the foundation and you've got yourself a pretty decent coverage! Really impressed with the quality of this and matched my skin tone a treat. Once again this was silly cheap and I think it was £2.

This looks like a lippie but is a blusher stick. Lovely pale pink colour and great for contouring. It really reminds me of a illamasqua product and perfect for a budget alternative.

I don't want to ramble on to much but this the finished look using only Primark makeup except the lipstick as I forgot to get that (oops!) Overall I'm so impressed with this range. Perfect if you are only just starting to wear makeup for like to experiment but are permanently skint like me!
Also Primark say this on the issue of animal testing-

Does Primark have a policy on the use of animal testing?

Yes. Primark does not conduct and does not commission any animal testing. Our terms of trade with suppliers make it clear that cosmetic products and their ingredients must not be tested on animals.

Primark beauty haul! PS Love review part 1

Ps Love. Primark Beauty haul and review!

After firstly trying the felt tip eye liner from Primark's extensive beauty range and being pleasantly surprised I have built up quite the collection! I don't really like to buy before I do lots and lots of research online but couldn't find really anything on the Ps Love range so this has prompted me to do my first blog post :D

I use the skin illuminate on my face first as a primer. The package says you can either wear it under makeup or use it by itself. It adds a pearlescent glow to the skin, leaves my skin feeling soft and my makeup lasts all day so this is a winner for me and at £2 or some silly cheap price won't break the bank!

Then it's onto foundation! I haven't strayed from my L'oreal minerals match foundation but for £2.50 was eager to try this one. For such a cheap foundation this one is the bee knees I'm pleased to say! My only issue would be it's not complete coverage and when you have rosy cheeks and freckles like me you might want to look for a heavier coverage. Though I am very pale and this matched a treat.
