Freedom Makeup haul part 1-lip products

I first heard about Freedom Makeup when I got a email from beautycrowd telling me about the launch. I checked it out and thought it looked so similar to Makeup Revolution's packaging, I found out a wee bit later it's a sister company of Makeup Revolution and offers affordable pro products. If you're familar with Revolution you'll know it's crazy cheap and Freedom is no different. When payday came I couldn't resist a cheeky order just to check it out. I ended up buying a lot and when you sign up for the newsletter you get a 20% off code. I got more lip products than anything else so I'll talk about them first.

The first lipsticks I swatched are the red collection. I'm a sucker for a red lippie so I knew I would like the whole collection. The lipsticks are £1 and the collections are buy 4 get 1 free so it would have been rude not to buy them! Off the top of my head they also have a bare collection and a pink one.

They are very similar to the makeup revolution £1 lipstick as in they are quite sheer but very creamy and glide right on. The first two in the picture on the right have red lipliner underneath which I would recommend as it just gives the lipstick a helping hand in popping and the lipstick will last longer. The last picture is one of the lipsticks without lipliner. Overall though I prefer a stronger colour I really like these, the colours are all gorgeous and for £1 are well worth a try!

These two colours are the same formula but not in the red collection. I think the first one came free in a spend over £25 offer, and though a little pale for me I think it would look gorgeous with a brown lipliner underneath it. The bottom colour just caught my eye on the website as I love deep berry colours. Once again these where £1.

The next thing I went on to order was the pro melts. They do have really good offers on them like buy the whole collection for £18, which for 8 melts at £3 each is a really good offer. The only reason I didn't was they're a few I wouldn't wear. I ended up getting TGIF which is a deep red and the browny nude D-ream. They also have a lip butter but that sounded more of a gloss to me while the melts sounded like melted lipstick.

They feel so nice on and really pigmented. The TGIF on the right I'm wearing with nothing underneath but I put a red lipliner (or pink would do it) on D-ream as it was to brown on me and didn't really suit me. But with the red lipliner I LOVE it! I really like these products and would defo buy them again.

I bought a whole lot more than these but just thought it easier to do the lip products separately. What do you think of Freedom makeup? Or do you prefer Makeup Revolution?
